for businesses

"Never let education get in the way of learning"_

New skills, methods and tools are being developed daily.
The question is: How is your business positioned to make the most of these changes?

THE DIGITAL CHALLENGE

Why businesses struggle to realise value from their data_

Unlocking the full value potential of data means businesses need to engender a data-driven culture.  In practice, this means that business processes and decisions are based on data-driven insight.

Data process and decisions need to be understood both horizontally and vertically within an organisation. Everyone in the organisation should be data literate.

Business leaders are required to be the most vocal proponents of data-driven insight and therefore analytics becomes a strategic concern rather than an IT one.

Compounding the urgency is the rapid pace of change in the data and analytics space, requiring businesses to continuously seek out new employees with the relevant experience at a great expense.

"All this to say, why not leverage the human capital present within your business?"

Hiring to fill an analytic gap within your company could cost upwards of £30k per person.  The time to fill one of these highly, in-demand position takes on average 37 days and bad hires cost companies anywhere between £20k to £50k.

Additionally, due to the urgency companies face getting the right skillsets in the door, 38% of bad hires were a result of time-sensitive need.

LEARNING AS A LIFELONG JOURNEY

The importance of reskilling in your business_

Reskilling your workforce is materially cheaper and less risky in improving your companies analytics capabilities than simply going to the job market.

More importantly, investing in your employees has been shown to vastly improve employee retention
